AWAPATENT ABSven-Eric Pettersson Office / Handler Applicant no. TECHNICAL FIELD The present invention relates to a device comprising a perforated gas distribution screen, which is arranged in an inlet funnel to a dust separator for flue gases...................................
Technique A device comprising a perforated gas distribution screen according to the above is known, for example, from US 2,703,630 and is used for equalizing a flue gas flow on the way into a subsequent electric dust separator. The equalization of the flue gas flow is in that case important for all electrodes of the dust collector to be exposed to the right volume of flue gas, which with the help of the electrodes must be cleaned of dust. If this volume becomes too large, a affected electrode does not trap all the dust Than the passing flue gas, which thereby becomes insufficiently purified.
Since the perforated gas distribution screen of the device is also passed by the flue gas, dust Than tends to be deposited on the gas distribution screen as well. Over time, the deposited dust on the gas distribution frame has a negative effect on its gas distribution properties, which in turn reduces the dust separation effect of the subsequent dust collector.
Against this background, it is generally accepted to try to keep the gas distribution screens clean Than dust by shaking the screens at certain intervals, for example in the manner described in the above-mentioned US 2,703,630, or even by striking them with the aid of hammer devices . However, none of these solutions are optimal. Both shaking and hammer blows tend to leave dust behind, which over time builds on more and increasingly degrades the function of the gas distribution screen. Remaining dust must therefore be removed manually sooner or later. 2 All manual interventions in this true context are at most unsatisfactory of several shells. Firstly, such interventions require relatively long downtimes, since time for cooling must be set aside due to the high temperatures available. And secondly, the dust, which is deposited not only on the gas distribution screens but also on cradles and roofs around them, carries the risk of landslide accidents, as the dust tends to clump together and to loosen in large loads of several kilograms during manual impact.
The spirit of the invention Against this background, the spirit of the invention is to provide a device which considerably reduces the need for downtime for manual cleaning of a perforated gas distribution screen.
Brief Summary of the Invention This breathable needle is achieved according to the invention by means of a device comprising a perforated gas distribution arm, which thanks an inlet to a flue gas separator and is suspended by means of at least two pendulum arms, which are arranged to allow oscillating parallel displacement of the gas the gas distribution screen at said parallel displacement is arranged to be ironed over stationary, substantially vertical scraper strips, which are arranged to scrape off dust which is stuck on the gas distribution core.
By completely disposing of the previous solutions with shaking or blows, which over time risk leading to fatigue damage to a gas distribution screen, according to the invention a solution is produced which is considerably more durable than the previous ones. In addition, the solution according to the invention enables a more reliable cleaning, especially if the dust adhering to the gas distribution frame from the beginning was sticky and therefore has choices.
According to a preferred embodiment, the said at least two pendulum arms extend from a suspension beam a short distance down over the gas distribution frame to suspension points thereon. The advantage of this is that the gas distribution frame at such a suspension can extend up to 3 nanth beams and allow a sufficiently large oscillating or oscillating movement.
Preferably, said at least two pendulum arms are fork-shaped and enclose the gas distribution arm. Such suspension on fork-shaped pendulum arms is extremely robust and also makes the gas distribution frame naturally hang vertically.
In order to effect the oscillating parallel displacement of the gas distribution arm, a rod, which is connected to the gas distribution arm and is parallel thereto, preferably extends substantially horizontally from the inlet into the gas distribution arm. Outside the inlet, this rod can then be connected to a suitable actuator, such as a cylinder unit, which is thus selectively protected against the responsible environment inside the inlet.
According to a preferred embodiment, in the device according to the invention guide plates are arranged lamellarly at the bottom of the inlet in front of the gas distribution frame, the guide plates being pivotable about horizontal axes between a tipped operating position, in which they control the supply of flue gas to the gas distribution manifold. , in which they are essentially vertically directed, so that on them collected and -Iran gas distribution screen scraped dust falls ay.
The guide plates preferably have upper edges, which have recesses for said scraper strips in order to be able to abut against a front side of the gas distribution frame in said open operating mode. This is advantageous as it improves the steering action of the guide plates during operation.
Finally, the gas distribution frame is preferably divided into a plurality of vertical plate strips, each having a first longitudinal edge, Than which has a plurality of flaps projecting, an opposite second longitudinal edge which forms a seam with a plurality of recesses which are arranged to fit flaps on a adjacent plate strip and to be welded together with these. The plate strips have dimensions that are easy to manufacture and transport and in particular to be handled on site in an inlet funnel. First inside this, they are welded together into a complete gas distribution screen, which thanks to the flaps and recesses can be done with high precision and also thanks to the seam release leads to an extremely rigid and stable screen. BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS A preferred embodiment of the invention is described in more detail in the following with reference to the accompanying schematic drawings, in which: Fig. 1 shows a device comprising a perforated gas distribution screen in perspective; Figures 2 and 3 show from the front a portion of the gas distribution frame in different parallel displacement layers; Fig. 4 is a perspective view with transparent details showing a portion of the gas distribution frame with a fork-shaped pendulum arm; Fig. 5 Than side shows a number of lamella-shaped guide plates; and Fig. 6 is a perspective view of parts of a plate strip for the gas distribution screen.
DESCRIPTION OF A PREFERRED EMBODIMENT The device 1 shown in perspective from the front in Fig. 1 is intended to be arranged in an inlet to an electric dust filter for flue gas cleaning. This filter is not shown in Fig. 1, where some other details have also been omitted in an attempt to clarify the figure. The device 1 comprises a gas distribution arm 2, which is built up of a number of vertical plate strips 3, of which according to the above some are omitted in Fig. 1. As follows from Fig. 6, the plate strips each have a first longitudinal edge, from which a plurality of flaps 4 project , and an opposite second longitudinal edge, which forms a seam 5 with a plurality of recesses 6. These are arranged to fit tabs 4 on an adjacent or adjacent plate strip 3 and to be welded together therewith. The plate strips 3 thus fastened together form a stable disc-shaped unit.
Each plate strip 3 is provided over its entire surface with a large number of through holes 7 (in Fig. 1 only a part of these are shown), which are dimensioned so that the gas perforation frame 2 perforated in this way can optimally control a dust barrier in a flue gas flow, which reaches the gas distribution screen 2 from the front, to an electric dust separator (not shown) arranged after this screen 2.
In order to further optimize the control of the flue gas flow, the device 1 in addition to the gas distribution frame 2 also comprises a number in front of a lower part of this arranged guide plates 8. These are pivotable about horizontal axes 6 between a tilted operating mode (see arrows A), in which they are inclined at about 45 degrees and leads flue gas from a lower part of the inlet upwards towards a higher up part of the gas distribution frame 2, and a closed cleaning layer (see arrows B), which will be described in more detail below. The surface which the guide plates occupy in front of the gas distribution frame and also the exact location of the guide plates is otherwise dependent on the conditions present in the above-mentioned inlet to and adjoining parts of the electric dust filter.
According to the invention, the gas distribution frame 2 is suspended by means of at least two pendulum arms 10. These extend from a suspension beam 11, where they are pivotally suspended, a distance down over the gas distribution frame 2 to suspension points 12 thereon, the pendulum arms 10 being preferably gaseous and fork-shaped on both its front and back (see Fig. 4). Thanks to the pendulum arms 10, it is possible to oscillate parallel displacement of the gas distribution arm 2 across the said inlet, or, explained otherwise, laterally pivot the gas distribution arm 2 without it losing its original vertical orientation (see the layers shown in Figs. 1-3).
The above-mentioned flue gas flow comprises, as indicated, dust which is to be mainly captured and removed from the flue gas in the electric dust filter arranged after the gas distribution distribution frame 2. However, a part of the dust has already been deposited on the gas distribution frame 2 and on the guide plates 8 arranged in front of it. In order that the dust deposited there can be effectively removed, the device 1 according to the invention preferably comprises two solutions.
The first of these solutions touches the gas distribution frame 2 and comprises stationary, substantially vertical scraper strips 13. These are clamped parallel to each other between the above-mentioned suspension beam 11 and a bottom beam 14 arranged at the bottom. The scraper strips 13 are arranged to scrape off parallel gas displacement shafts. dust stuck to screen 2 by stroking it. For this 6, each scraper strip 13 preferably comprises a front and a rear part, between which there is a gap 15, through which the gas distribution arm 2 extends.
To initiate the oscillating parallel displacement of the gas distribution arm 2 required for scraping, the device according to the invention preferably comprises a rod 16, which is connected to the gas distribution arm 2 and parallel to this, substantially horizontally from the inlet, projects into the gas distribution frame 2. The rod 16 is displaceable (see double arrow C) and can be operated in different ways, for example with the help of a cylinder unit (not shown).
The second of these solutions touches the guide plates 8. According to the above, these are pivotable about horizontal axes 9 between the said Open operating mode and the said closed cleaning mode. In the latter layer, the guide plates 8 are substantially vertically directed, so that on them true and Than gas distribution arm 2 scraped dust falls off (see bottom row of guide plates 8 in Figs. 1 and 5). And so that the guide plates 8 in that form are not obstructed by said scraper strips 13, they have upper edges which have recesses 17 for the scraper strips 13, so that in the open operating layer they can optimally abut against a front side of the gas distribution frame 2.
Those skilled in the art will appreciate that the device 1 described above can be varied in various ways within the scope of the appended claims. Thus, the gas distribution frame 2 can be formed in a different way than described and, for example, consist of a single plate and also have a completely different neck sample than shown in the drawings. Furthermore, more than one gas distribution screen 2 can be arranged in said inlet. The rudder mechanism for initiating the oscillating parallel displacement may also be differently designed and comprise, for example, an upwardly directed pivoting lever in place of the horizontal displaceable rod 16. Finally, the person skilled in the art realizes that the device 1 can also be used with other dust separators for flue gas filters.
